8 Key Elements To Happiness

Unconditional Love 
This is love that is given no matter where you are and what you are doing. This is the type of feeling that makes you feel complete. It's the type of love that no matter what type of situation you are in you will receive it. There are no limitations to unconditional love. In order to feel naturally satisfied, you want this type of natural feeling surrounding you or it will affect you long term.

  Continuous Progress
No matter how old you are or where you are, we all want progress. It can be a simple grade on a test or even if you have a chronic disease and you see little or extreme improvements. It can also be an advancement in your income level or even hitting specific milestones. Continuous progress keeps us motivated to want more and continue to push further and grasp for more. With a lack of progress, this is when people go through depression or they slowly give up on their dreams and desires.

  Self-Knowledge/Education
Self-knowledge/education can be put very high on this scale. The reason I say this is because once you get introduced to different conflicts in your life and experience downturns, you want to be able to know how to resolve it and overcome it as fast as you can. You want to be able to control the situation rather than it control you. Individuals who take the time to grow their communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, controlling thought patterns, learning leadership, learning new skills, personal motivation, self-actualization, and time management skills really put their entire life on the journey of success. I can go on with this list forever. You can never stop growing as a human. There is absolutely no limit to the person you can become. You don't want to be that person on your deathbed saying, " I wish I could've influenced or affected more people in a positive way". In order to live a fulfilling life, you want to give more but in order to give more, you must become more.

  Being Grateful
 This is such an important factor to these eight elements. We all start somewhere. Not all of us are given everything as soon as we are born. We need to grow up and work for it. Some of us are given a lot but maybe it's not enough. The most important part of being grateful is accepting and being happy with what you already have even if it's little or a lot. It would be impossible for you to be a happy individual without being grateful for the people, circumstances, or values you live by in your life. You want to absolutely strive for more every single day but you 100 percent need to be grateful for everything that you are as a person. Maybe you are not happy with your health, living situations, looks, and even strengths but the more you focus on what you are not happy with, the more it will become relevant to you. Focus on why you are so handsome or beautiful or how lucky you are to be living under a roof. If you have a chronic disease, be grateful for how strong you are to continue to push past this certain area in your life. Once you look at the bright side of any situation, understand that everything gets better if you focus on only the better side of it. This also means, act in every manner to benefit this issue in your current life. No one is perfect. Everyone has something that they are dealing with. Just take control and you'll get past it.

  Having Close Friends & Family
These are the people who will be there for you no matter what. Even if you are making horrible decisions in your life, family and friends will always be the ones that set you straight. They are the pushing mechanism to your growth. Not all family will support you, but stay close to the ones that do. They will bring you to extremities in your focus and vision. If no one is there for you and you need that support, they will always be there to talk to. They will help you when you are down and be there when you are succeeding. It's one of the greatest feelings having a family and close friends around to share your happiness with.

 Self-Awareness
Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses. If you like to sing but you literally can't sing, don't try to make a lifelong career out of it, when maybe you are one of the best boxers in your city. Follow your heart, do what you love, but commit to what you are good at. Whatever makes you happy do it for a hobby. God put us on this planet for a reason but it's up to you to figure out why you are here. I'm not saying don't continue to do things that you are not good at, but definitely put more focus on the things you excel in so you can turn that into a business, maybe even a career. Whatever makes you happy do it. Without being self-aware, you will live a very confusing life of jumping back and forth. There will be a lot of inconsistency. Commit to what you are good at, work on that as much as you can, and great things will come for you. 
 
Good Health
Without health you have nothing. Let’s say you have all the money in the world but have every disease in the book. You name it; cancer, diabetes, skin diseases or even an aching body. Will that make you happy? Absolutely not. Human beings need to put their health ahead of their business and ahead of their money. They need to take control of staying on top of keeping in shape because if you live a life of constant pain and disgust, you will never be internally happy. Eat well, workout, self-develop, and do what it ultimately takes to affect others around you to do the same. 
 
Give More Than You Receive
With whatever you have, if it's a piece of gum, helping someone with work, being stuck on the highway, going to a foreign country where the kids have nothing and the adults get paid nickels, giving something will impact you in marvelous ways you could ever imagine. Just think about all the energy you would be putting out into the universe and how much positivity would be coming back to you. Giving more than you receive is a way of life because being at the top by yourself and not helping the others around you is a lonely feeling inside. Create inner peace with yourself, and no matter where you are in your life, give more than you receive because it will come back to you.
